PROCESS

surface preparation

I am experienced in evaluating and preparing concrete floors to meet rigorous industry standards. The preparation of the concrete substrate is often the most critical step. Different solutions and equipment are used to effectively remove the top cream layer of concrete to expose a porous surface to ensure the best adhesion.

EPOXY

After the surface is fully prepped and cleaned, industrial-grade epoxy is applied with a combination of a squeegee and rollers. This is immediately followed by decorative color chips. The garage door is then lowered, leaving a space between the floor to avoid any damage and let the epoxy dry overnight.

POLYASPARTIC

Once the epoxy is fully cured, the floor is scraped and vacuumed to remove any loose or vertically standing flakes. The final step is to spread and roll out the UV stable, industrial-grade polyaspartic clear coat. The garage door is then lowered, leaving a space between the floor to avoid any damage and to allow the polyaspartic to dry overnight.
